Very sad news for rapper Black Rob's fans across the world. The 51 year old rapper has passed away today , as confirmed by his friends and collaborators.

Rob has been associated with P. Diddy's Bad Boy Records and has been known for this song 'Whoa'.

Last week, he himself shared an instagram video in which he shared that he is homeless and battling health issues.

“Oh man, I’ve been dealing with this for five years. Four strokes … I don’t know what to tell you, man,” Rob said in the video. “I don’t got no house to live in -- except maybe an apartment. Me and my man be trying to get together. I’m telling you man, this is strange. It’s hard, you know what I’m saying?

Rob , born on July 12, 1969, began his career with the nickname Bacardi Rob. He worked with the rap group, the Schizophrenics before he joined Diddy’s Bad Boy Records in the mid-1990.

Rob released his debut album, “Life Story,” in 2000 , which included the hip-hop anthem, “Whoa!” The album also included “I Love You Baby” and “Spanish Fly,” in collaboration with Jennifer Lopez.
