1. Oiling, Massage and Shampoo

Oiling and giving massage to your hair regularly is very important to keep them nourished and avoid hair fall. Understanding your scalp type and choosing the right shampoo is equally important.

2. Conditioning

Conditioners contains amino acids which helps in repairing damaged hair. Using conditioner which suits your scalp and hair also keeps them soft and smooth.

3. Say No to Chemical Treatments

Chemical treatments on hair like straightening, smoothening, colouring, blow dry tend to make your hair brittle and you experience hair fall.

4. Fenugreek HairMask

  • Soak the methi seeds overnight in water.
  • Grind it and make a fine paste, apply it to your hair and scalp.
  • Leave the paste for about 30 minutes and then wash off with water without applying shampoo.
  • You can make and use this hair mask twice a week to see the results.

5. Coconut Milk

  • Coconut Milk is one of the best home remedy to treat hair fall.
  • Grate a coconut and simmer in a pan.
  • Let it cool and then apply on your scalp and hair.
  • Keep it for 15-20 mins and then wash it off with water.
  • You can use a shampoo to rinse.

6. Amla or Indian Gooseberry

  • Amla is a rich source of Vitamin C, hence using Amla on your hair strengthens hair follicles.
  • Take a little Amla powder, mix it with lime juice and prepare a paste of it.
  • Apply this paste on your scalp and hair.
  • Keep it for around 45mins to an hour and then wash off with water.

7. Aloe Vera

  • Aloe Vera is a very good and beneficial home remedy for hair fall and hair growth.
  • Take a stalk of Aloe Vera and extract the pulp by peeling off the leaves.
  • Apply the pulp on your scalp and hair.
  • Keep it for around 45 mins to an hour and then wash off with water.
  • Use this hair fall treatment method 3 to 4 times a week for better results.

8. Egg Hair Mask

  • Eggs are an excellent source of sulphur, phosphorous, proteins, zinc which when applied to hair gives excellent results and helps treat hair fall naturally.
  • Mix an egg with 1 tbsp of olive oil and Honey.
  • Apply this paste to your scalp and hair (Just bear that odour for 20 mins) and then rinse with a shampoo and water.

9. Onion Juice

  • Onion Juice is highly nutritious as it contains Vitamins and Sulphur.
  • Grind an onion and take out the onion juice.
  • Apply this juice on your scalp by dipping a cotton ball in it.
  • Keep it for around 25-30 mins and then wash it off with a mild shampoo.

10. Green Tea

  • Green Tea can make excellent hair regrowth if applied correctly.
  • Take 2-3 teabags and soak them in a bowl of hot water. Let it cool for sometime and apply this on your scalp and hair by slowly giving massage to your hair.
  • Keep it for 30 mins and then wash off with water.
